Week 2: Dance
We have been learning about a range of cultures and how they differ from each other. This afternoon we learned about four types of national dance. Greece - Zorba, New Zealand - Haka, Scotland - Highland fling and Samoa - Sasa. Each dance had a different beat, different tone and used different parts of your body.
We asked Miss Fortes is we could try the highland fling. This is a link to the YouTube tutorial we used which was uploaded by Highland Dance Practice.
